K&P Lounge is a food-forward restaurant, bar, and event space located in Peekskill, New York, bringing together soul food and Puerto Rican inspired cuisine in a space designed for connection, culture, and experience.
Founded by a team of partners with a shared vision, K&P was created to be more than just a place to dine. It’s a concept built around community. A space where people can come together, celebrate, and feel a sense of familiarity while experiencing something elevated.
The Experience
At its core, K&P blends comfort and culture through its menu, while also creating an environment that evolves throughout the day. Guests can enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere during lunch, dinner, and brunch, then experience a more vibrant energy in the evenings through curated events, music, and gatherings.
Introducing Side 2
As K&P continues to grow, Side 2 expands what the K&P experience can be beyond the traditional restaurant setting.
The front of Side 2 is home to seasonal concepts like the K&P Creamery, featuring homemade desserts, refreshing treats, and favorites like coco, mango, rainbow, and cherry ice, along with Greens & Gather, our salad bar offering a fresh, healthy, and flavorful option for guests looking for something different. Future plans also include fresh juicing, continuing to build out the wellness side of the space.
Toward the back, Side 2 opens into a more intimate private lounge designed for celebrations, meetings, small gatherings, and exclusive events. With its own distinct atmosphere, it gives guests another way to experience K&P while still feeling connected to the warmth, culture, and community behind the brand.
Side 2 gives us room to keep growing, introducing new concepts, hosting private experiences and community events, and creating more ways for people to enjoy K&P.
Community and Purpose
K&P Lounge is rooted in giving back and being an active part of the Peekskill community. We’re proud to support and collaborate with local organizations, including 2 Sisters 2 Different Kinds of Lupus, on initiatives centered around community outreach, youth programs, awareness, and creating opportunities for others.
These partnerships are an extension of K&P’s commitment to building meaningful connections beyond the restaurant.
Every part of K&P is designed with intention, from the food and atmosphere to the experiences we create. It’s not just about what’s served, but about creating a space where people can gather, celebrate, connect, and be part of something growing within the community.
Food Access for Our Community
K&P Lounge is proud to participate in New York’s Restaurant Meals Program, giving eligible SNAP recipients the ability to use their EBT benefits to purchase prepared meals right here at K&P.
The program is available to eligible SNAP recipients who are:
- 60 years or older, including their spouse
- Living with a disability, including their spouse
- Experiencing homelessness
For us, food is about more than what’s on the plate. It’s about making sure members of our community have access to warm, prepared meals and more options when deciding where and how they eat.
Participation in the program is another way K&P continues to build around community, accessibility, and good food for everyone..
Celebrate with Us
K&P Lounge was created to be a place where people can come together, celebrate, and make memories. From birthdays and dinners to showers, meetings, private gatherings, and special events, we offer flexible options for both intimate celebrations and larger occasions.
Guests can celebrate within the main restaurant, enjoy a more private experience in Side 2, or work with us to create a setup that fits the occasion. With food, drinks, music, and a warm atmosphere all in one place, K&P makes it easy to turn an event into a full experience.
Whether you’re planning something small or taking over the space for a bigger celebration, our goal is to make it feel personal, comfortable, and worth remembering.
